THE SAME CORE, TUNED TO YOUR LINE SPEED
The DR-5 shares its core geometry with the rest of the Hsieh Hsu drive roll range — an Ø850mm upper roll over an Ø650mm lower roll, each wrapped in a non-slip belt or rubber surface for consistent grip through the wet end.
What sets the DR-5 apart is configurability: it ships with a choice of belt and drive arrangement, so the stand can be specified against your actual line speed and sheet weight rather than a fixed default.
As with the rest of the range, upper and lower roll shafts are dischargeable and each roll runs off its own independent gearbox, transported through universal joints — maintenance stays simple regardless of which drive option is fitted. roll shafts pull out as dischargeable assemblies — no need to dismantle the stand frame, which keeps scheduled maintenance short and predictable.

An upgraded imported non-slip belt is fitted to the machine’s conveyor bed. The belt’s non-slip surface ensures stable feeding and prevents sheets from shifting during the production process.

Upper and lower rollers each have their own motor, which can be controlled independently. This design provides more stable power transmission and allows for precise speed regulation.
