BUILT FOR CONTINUOUS UNWIND AT THE WET END
The MRS-V6 hydraulic shaftless mill roll stand is designed to hold and unwind base paper rolls that feed the single facer, the first processing station in a corrugated roller machine line. Since 1980, Hsieh Hsu has specialized in manufacturing wet-end equipment for corrugated board production lines. Featuring a fully hydraulic control system for clamping, positioning, and lifting, the MRS-V6 enables faster and safer roll changes while reducing manual handling.
Each stand carries two pairs of arms, allowing two paper rolls to be staged simultaneously. While one roll continuously feeds the single facer, the next is already positioned and clamped, minimizing downtime during roll changes. An imported pneumatic air brake maintains stable unwind tension as the roll diameter decreases from 1,600 mm to 320 mm, while toothed or expansion chucks are available to accommodate different paper core sizes.
EVERY KEY MOTION IS HYDRAULIC & AUTOMATED
Every key operation—including clamping, positioning, and lifting—is powered by the hydraulic system, with integrated pneumatic tension control, enabling faster paper roll changes with reduced operator effort.
FULL HYDRAULIC ACTUATION
Clamping (open-close), left-right positioning, and lifting-lowering of the roll arms are all driven by the hydraulic system — no manual cranking.
TWO ROLLS PER STAND
Each stand carries two pairs of arms, holding two mill rolls at once — the next roll is already staged when the running roll runs out.
DEDICATED 10 HP POWER UNIT
A self-contained 10 HP hydraulic power pack drives clamping, positioning, and lift independently of the rest of the line.
MATCHED CYLINDER SET
Four ⌀CB100×56×425 mm and four ⌀LB80×35×1020 mm oil cylinders, sized and paired for balanced clamp and lift force.
IMPORTED AIR BRAKE TENSION
Precision-adjustable pneumatic braking maintains consistent unwind tension as the roll diameter decreases from 1,600 mm to 320 mm.
TOOTHED OR EXPANSION CHUCK
Choose a jugged (toothed) chuck or a bulgy (expansion) chuck to match your roll cores.
