NEW TYPE OVERHEAD
BRIDGE CONVEYOR
A steel-framed overhead bridge that lifts and guides single-faced board from the single facer across to the fourfold preheater. Independently driven elevator and conveying platform keep the web tracking steady at line speed.
STEADY WEB TRANSFER AT LINE SPEED
The bridge conveyor’s frame, drives and guiding are built to keep single-faced board tracking cleanly on its way to the preheater, without slowing the rest of the line down.
8″ Channel Steel Main Frame
The main frame is built from 8-inch steel channel for a rigid structure that supports the elevator and conveying platform at height.
Upper Guide Conveyor
Three upper guide conveyor sets are installed above each single facer, keeping the web aligned as it’s picked up.
Horizontal Multi-Stream Conveyor
A three-stream horizontal conveyor guides single-faced board from the single facer across to the fourfold preheater.
Independently Driven Elevator & Platform
The elevator and the conveying platform each run on independent transmission, so hoist and horizontal transfer are controlled separately.
Safety Rails & Staircases
Safety rails are fitted on both sides of the walkway, with staircases for safe operator access at working height.
